Puddle lamps are a common feature on most premium sports cars, but are missing on many Mustang trims. Now available from Starkey is a high quality puddle lamp kit. Our lamps use LED bulbs and are designed to be low profile and easy to install! Not only a great aesthetic upgrade, the puddle lamps provide increased visibility at night.

Features and Benefits:

  • 2 Low Profile LED puddle lamps are included. Because LEDs have a life span of 50,000+ hours, you’ll never have to replace a bulb again. High quality weatherproof construction insures trouble free operation.
  • Puddle lamps come on automatically when the vehicle is unlocked or the doors are opened, and dim once the vehicle is turned on.
  • The lamps simply require an 11/16” hole to be drilled in the bottom of the side-view mirrors. An easy to use template is included to make drilling a breeze.
  • Several LED colors are available to match your ride* – White, Red, Blue, Green, or Orange.
  • You don't need to purchase anything else. Lamps, wiring, connectors and a template for drilling are all included.
  • Installation is straight-forward. Most installations take about 1 hour. A detailed step-by-step instruction manual with pictures is included. A video installation guide is also available.

        Love them!

I got them and they were easy to install! The hardest part is taking off the glass on the mirror in my opinion... for some reason mine stopped working after the second day but the customer service was FANTASTIC and so sweet. We tried some trial and error but In the end they sent me a replacement free of charge and they have been working perfectly ever since! Think I just got a bad batch or something but I definitely recommend this product and this company!

        Great Quality

Easy to install, took about 2 hours. Hardest part was putting on wire splices. They work great.

A great and easy way to spice up your Mustang.

If you're looking for a way to add a nice touch of flair to your '13 or '14 Mustang, look no further than this kit. It's a really simple install that took me about an hour and a half (though it could be done quicker by someone who is more familiar with working on Mustang mirrors). The toughest part for me was popping the glass out of the mirror housing, as the retaining tabs love to re-attach... but as long as you have a fairly small flat-head screwdriver and some patience, it isn't a big deal. As for drilling the holes in the bottom of your mirrors, I'd recommend a Unibit; if you don't have one, it'll set you back about $35, but it's worth every penny as it makes drilling the holes pretty effortless. The wire taps in this kit make it a snap for wiring/electrical novices (such as myself) to hook into the factory wiring. As for the final result, the lights really look fantastic. I went with the green kit, and though the white light is supposedly the brightest, the colored lamps are also fairly bright. Starkey really nailed it with this kit. If you're on the fence, just do it... you won't be disappointed!

        2013-2014 Puddle Lamp Kit

It is Saturday afternoon and just finished the Mustang 2013-2014 Puddle Lamp Kit installation. Watched Jasons' installation video and followed the included instructions. Everything went just as planned, no work arounds or guessing was required, and the lights worked first time with no troubleshooting or re-work needed. The included wiring looks robust for the job and the splices were neat and sealed. I routed them as instructed, but did place them UNDER the foam gasket next the composite mirror base just to reduce any contact with the metal door frame. The only additional item I did was coat the red wire taps with clear RTV, as this install is in a convertible Mustang and water ends up EVERYWHERE eventually!! Thanks Jason for a nice kit!
